Working within the context of sequence and recurrence, each edition focusses on a unique and self-contained body of work, in which spatial relations of proportion and scale are expressed symbolically.
Frances Perkins founded TOTEM in New York City in 2013.
From 2013-2016, Perkins ran a gallery, Eli Ping Frances Perkins, in Chinatown and then Harlem, New York.
